Can you volunteer as an NIGF committee member or event sponsor?

The Northern Information Governance Forum is a not for profit organisation based in the North of England which provides a community that allows the discussion of Information Governance and Cyber Security related issues. NIGF are looking for three people who have professional expertise in Information Governance to become Committee members and be jointly responsible for its governance and strategic direction.
The committee positions we are recruiting for are; Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer.
How the committee operates
The committee will meet quarterly in the North of England. There are no financial recompenses attached to these positions; attendance is voluntary.
Outside of attendance, it is important that regular content is maintained with the chairperson, or relevant team members, usually be email or telephone.
The committee will be proactive, and members are involved in the follow-up of tasks, advocacy for the organisation and contributions to strategic work.

The NIGF events have been able to be hosted with the support of business sponsors. If you’d like to express an interest in sponsoring one of the NIGF events it is great exposure of your organisations’ brand and a great opportunity for lead sponsors to promote their company at the event.
