Our next event: 18th September 2025
For our first event of 2025/26, the NIGF Steering Committee will be leading a session to discuss some of the key changes being introduced by the Data (Use and Access) Act to Data Protection and Privacy Law, providing an overview of the new guidance that the ICO has released and discussing the guidance out for consultation in relation to recognised legitimate interests and the right to complain. This session will allow members to find out more about the proposed changes, how this might impact their organisation and give them the opportunity to discuss how they are reviewing existing practices, policies and procedures to reflect the new aspects of the Act.
