The NIGF holds at least three events per year across different locations in the North of England and Scotland. These events are open to anyone working in Data Protection and IT Security and provide a forum for networking and learning more about how other organisations are implementing improvements in this area.
Events usually last half a day and are themed around a specific topic area. In addition, online webinars and networking opportunities will also take place between face to face events.
Here’s a list of our planned events. Seats are limited so if you would like to attend, sign up by clicking on the Eventbrite link (when it is available) in the event description.
The Northern Information Governance Forum is giving members the opportunity to network with their colleagues in our online event exploring the challenges of identifying third party organisations that may have access to your organisations personal data, agreeing their roles and responsibilities, implementing appropriate agreements and ensuring due diligence of these suppliers.
This session, which will be led by the NIGF Steering Committee, will present the potential issues and approaches and give attendees the chance to discuss these in more details and share their challenges and ways they may have overcome these with other like-minded individuals. If you would like to attend this event on Thursday 1st October at 2pm, but are not already a member, please get in touch via email@example.com
